Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 July 2026

Who provides the service

Epoptes (epoptes.gr) is operated by UpCommerce EE, An. Papandreou 285, 56532 Polichni, Thessaloniki, Greece. GEMI No: 188075406000 · VAT: EL803043413 · Contact: hello@upcommerce.gr. By using the service you accept these terms.

What the service is

Epoptes measures whether your business appears in the answers of AI assistants (such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini) for commercially relevant queries, and reports on competitors that do appear. It is offered as:

Free micro-audit — an indicative check delivered by email. AI Monitoring (€19/month) — a monthly subscription that starts with a full visibility report and then, each month, tracks how your score moves, which competitors appear, and what to do about it. The price includes VAT.

Important limits of the service

AI assistant answers are non-deterministic: they change over time and can differ between runs. Scores and competitor listings are a good-faith snapshot at the time each report runs, not a guarantee of what any AI will say at another moment. Recommendations are informational and do not guarantee any specific business outcome.

Payments, refunds & cancellation

Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew monthly on your billing date until cancelled.

14-day refund: for any purchase, email us within 14 days and we will refund it in full.

Cancellation: cancel any time by emailing hello@upcommerce.gr or replying to any report email. Cancellation stops future charges; the current period remains active until its end.

Fair use

The free micro-audit is limited to one per email address and per website; results are cached per domain. Automated, bulk or abusive use of the free audit is not permitted. We may refuse or terminate service in cases of abuse, with a pro-rata refund of any unused paid period.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that you are authorised to request analysis for the website you submit, and that the onboarding details you provide are accurate. Reports are licensed for your business's internal use; you may share them with your team and advisors, but not resell them.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for decisions taken based on report contents or for the behaviour of third-party AI systems.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Greek law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Thessaloniki, Greece. EU consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/odr).

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email to active customers at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
